Just down the road is the mighty Mata—Au (the Clutha River) New Zealand’s largest volume river. Join Dave to ride down the rapids of Beaumont Gorge; an exhilarating 20 minute jet boat ride with wave chains, whirlpools and stunning scenery. On the return trip, get ready for the legendary 360 degree spins! You’ll be amazed by the handling ability of this great New Zealand icon, the Hamilton Jet.

Lunch can be arranged after the boat trip on request. On the return trip to Dunedin city sit back and enjoy the beautiful Otago landscape.

Each trip takes approximately 8 hours return, 8:30am-4:30pm depending on size of group. Warm clothing is required. Advance booking essential. Children must be over 5 years old. We can take from min of 2 passengers in a limo and a minimum of 6 passengers in a coach.

This trip is a must if you want to explore the wild part of the New Zealand coast. We take you from rolling farmland to a scenic rugged rock coast, featuring numerous picturesque bays with tumbling waterfalls and stunning views from the lighthouse which is part of a scenic reserve.
